The Fire Place and The Hogfathers BBQ team have teamed up with 9-time world barbecue champion, Chris Marks, for an epic backyard barbecue class at The Fire Place showroom in Louisville, KY.
Chris is a nationally recognized elite competition barbecue chef, instructor and barbecue business leader from Kansas City.
Chris has won more than 50 national barbecue championships, and over 600 individual awards including the Jack Daniel’s World Championship BBQ Sauce Championship, and the Grand Daddy of them all, the World Series of BBQ, the American Royal in Kansas City, where he was an 8-time Grand Champion.
He has been featured on the Food Channels “Taste of America” with Mark De-Carlo, Travel Channels “BBQ Battle”, and numerous other local and regional BBQ shows.
During this class, Chris will teach you how to perfectly cook championship quality chicken and pork ribs. You will learn everything from meat selection, trimming, seasoning, wood and pellet selection, cooking, and flavor enhancing finishing techniques.
All questions will be answered and by the end of the class you will leave with the knowledge and skills to be a backyard barbecue hero to your friends and family.
